Everything you always wanted to know about downward dog, but were afraid to ask.

Bent or straight knees? Too long or too short? There’s more to downward facing dog than meets the eye.

In this 2 hour workshop we take one of the most emblematic yoga poses and use it to cover the key principles of yoga technique. Expect a very detailed explanation of down dog, how to make it more active to increase shoulder and hamstring flexibility as well as how to incorporate it with grace into a vinyasa.

There’ll be time to ask questions that are specific to your own anatomy, looking at variations for different bodies and injuries, you’ll leave feeling clear on what you are supposed to do in a downward dog throughout every stage of a class.

Open to all levels of experience and flexibility, including complete beginners and Rebel students that want to learn more and improve their technique. This workshop incorporates a level 1 yoga practice.
